Moto E5 Plus Imminent Launch Exclusively at Amazon on July 10
The latest Moto E5 Plus which is a successor to the Moto E4 Plus is all set to enter the Indian market with a bang. It has been able to create a lot of buzz due to its larger battery and bigger display. It was recently launched in Brazil in a popular event. This latest smartphone is the third Moto phone to be launched in India this year following the release of Moto G6 and the Moto G6 Play earlier. The smartphone will be available exclusively at Amazon on July 10. And, one can also avail various Amazon mobile offers.
It is speculated that the Moto E5 Plus would be priced under the 10k segment given the huge competition in the market. However, the exact price of the new handset is yet to be announced. If looking back at the prices of G6 and G6 Play, they have been priced at Rs. 13,999 and Rs. 11,999 respectively, thereby it is expected that the E-series to would tow the same line considering the specs on offer.
The E5 Plus is said to have impressive battery life and a full-screen Max Vision display which would give users an immersive video experience with a better-quality video playing capacity, among other things. On Monday, Motorola India announced that the Moto E5 Plus will be unveiled on July 10 and the product would be exclusive to Amazon India and buyers can also purchase the handset offline via Moto Hub stores across India.
Moto E5 Plus: Features and Specifications
The latest Moto E5 Plus flaunts a 6-inch HD+ 720×1440-pixel 18:9 IPS LCD display. This would translate as having narrow bezels on the front with the fingerprint sensor being shifted to the back embedded in the brand’s logo. Moto has tried to make the smartphone look premium similar to that of its sibling the Moto G6, which has a reflective back that gives off a wavy pattern, glass front, and a solid metal frame. When compared to its predecessor the E5 ditches the glass rear but instead has been made of a glossy plastic shell.
You’ll also find a circular camera setup at the back which certainly reminds us of Moto G6 and the Moto X4 in design. Since it’s not a dual set-up you’ll only get to have a 12-megapixel sensor with LED flash, PDAF and laser autofocus. Speaking of the front camera the Moto E5 boasts of an 8-megapixel sensor with a selfie flash.
Under its hood, the Moto E5 Plus packs an octa-core Snapdragon 435 chipset, which is mated with 3GB of RAM. Additionally, you wouldn’t have to worry about storage capacity too as the smartphone also has 32GB of internal storage which is expandable via a micro SD card up to 256GB. There are some speculations doing the rounds about whether Motorola will launch a higher 4GB + 64GB variant in the Indian market as the company has not confirmed it yet. One of the attractive specifications of this phone is that it is expected to run a near stock Android Oreo out-of-the-box and would be showered with some Motorola-specific features like Moto Actions and Moto Display on board.
One of the biggest highlights that are creating abuzz in the smartphone market is that the Moto E5 Plus would be carrying a 5,000mAh battery, which will undoubtedly allow its users to consume media on-the-go without having the inhibition of battery draining out too quickly. The phone measures 161.9 x 75.3 x 9.35mm and it weighs around 200 grams which is generally due to a large and heavy battery inside. However, the brand has equipped the phone with a 3.5mm headphone jack, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n and GPS, among other things in the connectivity arena. The latest variant is able to accommodate only a single SIM but it is understood that Motorola could bring a dual-SIM model to India on July 10.
